Chaplain Britt Clay - Those faithful in little will be trusted with much

Chaplain Britt Clay has a statewide vision for Oklahoma.

Meanwhile he exemplifies servant leadership by first being faithful in the little things, as well as with the big picture. See more of the big picture at National School Chaplain Association

Faithfully Dependable

Chaplain Clay serves in three of the ten Santa Fe South Charter Schools. (SFS) is the largest, in person, public charter in all of Oklahoma and one of the largest in the country with little over 5,000 students, K-12.

Demonstrating successful chaplaincy at SFS builds trust for more districts to place chaplains in their schools. Chaplain Clay’s character, integrity and intent are evident, which has already peaked interest for growth.

Community Outreach

Chapter meetings are being held in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

 Where is the pizza?

Simple acts of kindness goes a long way. Students, faculty and administrators have recognized Clay’s work in the schools.

Faithfully helping with the school clubs has captured attention.

In no time at all, they no longer ask; “Why are you here?”

Career Guidance

One senior was not sure which career he wanted to pursue. Having noticed that he believes in God, Chaplain Clay asked if he had engaged his faith t0 help in decision making. This thought process sparked a fresh starting point filled with vision and hope!

Student’s Life Lesson:

Another student had been struggling with tardiness and poor attendance. Chaplain Britt Clay asked; “Do you want people to be able to trust you?”

In that moment, the student realized that he was important and is being seen!

The Chaplain then invited him into a principle of integrity:

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.”

(Luke 16:10, ESV)

This instantly resonated with the child! He personally understood that it really does matter that he is dependable and trustworthy.

Integrity became his identity and the quality of his future came to light!
