History in the making

Texas has passed The School Chaplain Act. This law will allow schools to hire chaplains. Chaplains will provide counseling and community support to teachers and students.

The National School Chaplain Association recognizes the increasing challenges faced by students, teachers, and educational institutions in Texas, including mental health issues, school gun violence, and teacher burnout. They believe that a trained and accredited school chaplain can provide valuable support to address these issues. The Sound of Freedom is a phenomenal movie. Rescuing the children from harm is very dramatic and we praise God for every single rescue.

Unfortunately, the movie can’t tell us everything. Many kids can’t escape. Unless there is a Jesus intervention, these children will face a life of chronic illness and early death.

Years ago, my wife and I decided to take action. We saw the after affects of what happens to these victims. It’s very important to prevent those things from ever happening in the first place. We found out if children are in school, they are less like to fall victim to any of these horrific events.

Right now we have over 26,000 schools, representing over 23 million people being ministered to by chaplains. Chaplains have changed the culture in schools. More kids stay in school longer. More kids graduate school. Great things happened when there is a God representative on campus.
